Catherine Forte is an indie-pop solo artist originally from San Diego, California and now living in Tokyo, Japan. A singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Forte has been gracing the stages of multiple music venues in the Japanese music wards of Shibuya and Roppongi. Previously an acoustic artist, Forte is bringing new sounds to the stages and ears worldwide in 2020 with her newly - released pop singles, “First Dance” and “Tanlines” with San Diego producer, Drew Chammas aka DruLoop. Forte is currently inspired by Maggie Rogers, LÉON, and Dua Lipa and is currently working on her first EP from which you can expect a fresh indie-pop sound with funky bass lines, synth lines, and dance beats. Forte's singer-song writer roots are interwoven between her catchy hooks and melodies; stitched together through her storytelling and enchanting her audience. Career highlights include opening for Kina Grannis and The Mowgli’s.
